Storage Talk 3/12/15: Reaching Self-Storage Customers Online


The Internet has become an incredible way to reach the modern consumer.  There are constantly new platforms through which businesses can reach potential customers and vice versa.  Whether it be a website, social media platforms, or even user reviews, a customer is able to form their own opinion on any given company when doing a search online. The online consumer can go anywhere on the Internet to find the service they are looking for, and so it is important for a business to be able to convince the online consumer to use their service.

Self-storage units are increasingly being rented through online platforms. Customers are now able to locate self-storage facilities, research the company, and complete rental transactions all online.  A self-storage company greatly benefits from an established online presence, as it allows them to reach potential customers easily and effectively.  Being able to effectively reach self-storage consumers online is an important part of self-storage marketing today.
